Neko (Cats)

Typical three colored Japanese cats and other common colored cats.

Fishing in Tiny Pond

During geocaching, I saw people fishing in a tiny pond. I stopped by on the way back.

Wth? I've never seen this short rod. I'm even not sure if I can call it a rod. I, however, saw he got a tiny fish shorter than my thumb. Those tiny black things in the picture are not fish, they are dead leaves. Ok, I have some more pictures to post but I'm too drunk to continue. Later.

Iris

Another rainy season flower. Today I went geocaching. I left home around noon and came back around 5:30. It started raining when I got almost home. Lucky me.

Star Soldier R

I've been playing this shooting game for a week now. So addictive. You have to get as high score as possible in two minutes. This is one of the best plays on youtube. My high score is 1063200 as of today. Both my thumbs are swelling bad.

Guitar and drum games

I stopped by an amusement center during my lunchtime walk in Shibuya. I've never played them but it seems they're quite popular.

Police Bike

I asked a police officer what this pipe is. It houses a police club. I just didn't think the club is that long.

Blood Drive

Free drink, snack, and a toothbrush for 400ml of your blood. I filled up my point card so I got a reusable shopping bag too.

Beetle

The first one of this year is female :) It's a strange feeling that she doesn't know how much time I spent for them at all. She's larger than I expected from her weight while she was still a larva.

PASMO

You can use public transportation and vending machines with this card. 'Unlike' credit cards, you can use it without taking it out of your wallet. All you need to do is to swipe your wallet over the reading device. Really nice.

Izakaya

Izakaya is a place where Japanese businessmen drink and eat. I found a thing that I had wanted to try for a long time. It's called "hoya". I can't explain how it tastes like. The closest I can think of is sea cucumbers while its texture is quite different.

Ajisai - Hydrangea

I have to take my camera with me. This is the best my cell phone can do.

Police Car & Bike

Tokyo has been "officially" in Tsuyu (rainy season) since yesterday.

I have to figure out what the pipe thing by the front wheel is.

So thin. You can find so many vending machines in Tokyo. I guess I should say "too many".

Garmin

eTrex Vista price drop to 79800 yen. I wonder how much it was. It's $770 per today's exchange rate. How ridiculous.

Ueno/Akihabara Cache Hunt

I went geocaching to Ueno and Akihabara. I stopped by Omiya Hachiman (shrine) in Eifuku-cho first.

Terapia Fishing at Arako River

I took my nephew to a local river for fishing per his request.

Terapia

Arako River

The river usually has a lot of terapias when it has water. Water was not clear as it rained on the previous day.

Result: me 20+, my nephew 2 w/ my help.

Sekibutus - Buddhist Statues

I found them at the Sanpou-ji temple while I was geocaching. I used to live nearby but I did't know them. Actually, I didn't know the temple itself.

I carefully observed and found them very old. This one has been there since 1682. I believe there are older ones. I have to go back there again.

About $25 worth of toy crane machine result: chocolate and stupid toys. I totally hated myself. GPS is not included, of course.

Tokyo Metro - Tokyo Station

There is no way to fall off (unless you're so determined...). I wonder how they installed these gates in such a busy station.

There were a lot more people than I expected.

Looks good. Let's get one.
