I went geocaching to Ueno and Akihabara. I stopped by Omiya Hachiman (shrine) in Eifuku-cho first.

I took my nephew to a local river for fishing per his request.

The river usually has a lot of terapias when it has water. Water was not clear as it rained on the previous day.

Sekibutus - Buddhist Statues

I found them at the Sanpou-ji temple while I was geocaching. I used to live nearby but I did't know them. Actually, I didn't know the temple itself.

I carefully observed and found them very old. This one has been there since 1682. I believe there are older ones. I have to go back there again.

GINGA made an 8 hrs 20 mins trip to Kyoto (2hrs 20 mins by bullet train) and finished its 59 years of service this morning.

Saipan-Da!

Got a souvenir from Saipan.

A keyfob of the Saipan's official tourist mascot: a panda with a rhyno horn. In Japanese, "Sai" is "Rhyno" and "Da" is like "It is". "Pan-da" is, of course, "Panda". This Japanese-pun "Saipan da!" means "It's Saipan!".
