I'm not sure if it was worth the time and the travel... It's simply not my kind of festival. Don't know why though. I usually enjoy colorful things whatever they are...

Cicada (Minmin Zemi)

Hi there!

This kind was very very rare in Nagasaki when I was a kid but it's very common in Tokyo. Having an armor plate over the belly, this guy is a male.

Rescuing Cicadas

Found them on the ground during a night walk in Inokashira park. There were so many nymphs stomped to death.

 I'm afraid this guy won't make it... It was too late when I found it.

Nini-zemi

 The tiniest kind you can find in Tokyo. I think this one is dying. No more strength to fly.

This guy should be ok.
