Kichijoji Autumn Fest Day 2
Kids, don't listen to him. You cannot get Wii. It's there for a display purpose.
Here are some pictures of ennichi special treats.
Okonomi-yaki
Ringo-ame (Apple Candy)
Kakikori (Shaved Ice)
Chocolate Banana
Stuffed pancake/crepe. It usually has a variety of ingredients - pork, squid, cabagge, egg... and it's topped with sweet Worcestershire-like sauce, fish flakes and seaweed flakes. Okonomi means "what you like" so you can put whatever you like.
Wata-ame (Cotton Candy)Thin rice wafer w/ sauce (so-su) or paste on it. Traditional so-su senbei comes with mayo, okonomiyaki-sauce, or plum paste (red one).
Ringo-ame (Apple Candy)
Apple candy means this one in Japan.
The picture shows syrups only...
*Ok, it's not kakikori. It says "Tropical Juice". I thought they are kakikori syrups.
Yakiika (BBQ'ed Squid)*Ok, it's not kakikori. It says "Tropical Juice". I thought they are kakikori syrups.
We call it "choco" banana.
Anzu-ame (Plum Candy)Sour plum on sweet starch syrup.
