This shitty piece of paper gives a valid reason for your lateness to work/school. It also proves Japanese are less effective people. I've seen station staff issuing 4 min delay certificates. Who gives a shxt about several minutes late? Japanese companies do. They don't care about their employees' going out for smoking 10 times a day though.

The sign is posted at the entrance of the deadliest pier in Ibaraki prefecture. It says 62 have been killed fishing there because of big waves. Another 3 died last weekend. Must be a very good fishing spot.
